Application/Registration and Academic/Technology Fees
Registration of current Sacred Heart School families will take place beginning February 17, 2010. Your child's place will be held until February 28, 2010. Any registrations after this date are subject to a $100 late fee. Registration must take place promptly to enable us to plan for the upcoming school year. The application process for new families will begin on March 1, 2010.
Application/Registration Fee: The fee per family is $100 Pre-K through 8 and is not refundable.
Academic and Technology Fee: This fee, also not refundable is $150 for each child. This fee helps to pay for textbooks, workbooks, insurance, supplies, software and computer maintenance and upgrade, as well as NYS test scoring and reporting of data and a yearly fee to maintain our Student Information System (SIS). The academic and technology fees must be paid by June 15, 2011. After this date the fee will be added to the tuition bill. If a late fee has been incurred and has not been paid by June 15, 2011, this fee shall also be added to tuition. This fee is only refundable to those families whose child is not accepted into the school as a result of grade level screening.
Application/Registration Fees and Academic and Technology Fees are not refundable in the event there is a sudden transfer or sudden move.
Participation in the "300" Raffle: All families will be expected to take part in the Winter "300" Raffle that is held prior to Christmas. Each family will purchase a ticket for $100 (by separate check) upon registration. Families may keep the ticket themselves, sell to another party or even split the cost among other individuals. The ticket stub will include space for five names--if a family wishes to divide the cost and prize. All names must be submitted by December 1st or the family name shall appear alone on the ticket.

Weekly Envelopes: To receive Category A discount, Sacred Heart Parish families must use the parish envelopes and contribute a minimum of $10 per week. Families that choose NOT to make these donations and NOT to attend Mass on a regular basis shall be assigned to Category B.
Category B Non-Parishioner (including Most Holy Trinity, West Point).

PLEASE NOTE:
Eighth Grade is on a ten-month payment plan. All financial obligations must be made in order for a student to participate in graduation and to receive a diploma.
Tuition is paid directly to the school only if you intend to make one or two payments. Pay in full by September 1 and receive a four percent discount. Pay one-half by September 1 and one-half by February 1 and receive a 2 percent discount. Otherwise, tuition is paid through SMART Tuition Management Services. Payment option must be chosen by July 1st.
*All Current Families, enrolling a child into kindergarten or first grade for the 2010-2011 school year, are eligible to receive a $250 coupon to be used toward the last month's tuition of 2010-2011.
Tuition Consideration will be given to a family when they assume a position, such as, President of the Home School Association, Fundraiser Coordinator and Chairperson, Sports Committee Member and/or Recess Monitor 2x a week or more. These are appointed positions by the Principal.
Requests for other tuition consideration are made only after consultation between Pastor and Principal. (A decision may or may not take place at time of registration).

Each family is required to participate
in one of the following categories:
- Chair a fundraiser
- Participate in two fundraisers
- Supervise recess or lunch at least once a week
- Special duty approved by the principal
