Music
Mr. Joseph Alcruz joined our faculty in 2009 as the music teacher. He received his B.A. in Classical Civilizations from Fordham University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia. After seven years working in both the public and private sectors, he returned to Fordham University for graduate studies, receiving his M.S.Ed. in 2003, with a specialization in Elementary Education. He has taught at Public School 43 in New York City, Cyril & Methodius Seminary in Orchard Lake, Michigan, and at the Archdiocesan High School and Middle School in Warsaw, Poland. A guitar and songwriting enthusiast for more than two decades, he is actively involved in music ministry for several Catholic prayer communities, and serves as a cantor at St. Mary's Parish in Closter, NJ.
