Band
Mrs. Marie Hughes has been the band director at Sacred Heart since 2006. She began teaching at Paul Effman Music Service in 2004 and is now a manager and publications editor for the company. She has experience teaching general music and recorder programs and is currently the band director at several Catholic schools throughout Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, and Orange Counties.
Mrs. Hughes studied music education and earned her Bachelors Degree at Purchase College, State University of New York. She currently attends Marist College where she is pursuing a degree in organizational leadership and communication.
